Key Responsibilities:
a leading healthcare facility in Palakkad, Kerala, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiologist to join our team. As a Cardiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality cardiac care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat various cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and congenital heart defects.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and surgical interventions.
Perform cardiac procedures and surgeries, such as angioplasty, stent placement, and cardiac catheterization, with precision and skill.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology research, technologies, and treatments through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
Medical degree from a recognized institution and valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist in India.
Board certification or equivalent qualification in Cardiology.
Proven experience working as a Cardiologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make sound medical judgments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
