Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the doctor. Monitor patient vital signs and maintain accurate records. Assist in the preparation for diagnostic tests or surgical procedures. Ensure the physical and emotional comfort of patients.

Clinical Duties:
Perform medical procedures like wound dressing, IV cannulation, catheterization, etc., as required. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain hygiene standards for patients and in the ward/ICU. Manage emergency situations effectively by providing life-saving interventions.

Administrative Tasks:
Maintain patient files and update reports accurately. Ensure proper handover between shifts. Assist in inventory management of medical supplies and equipment.

Education and Counseling:
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families when needed.

Team Collaboration:
Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning. Work in coordination with doctors, physiotherapists, and other medical staff.

Qualifications:
Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing) from a recognized institution. License: Registered with the State Nursing Council in India. Experience: 0-20 years (freshers are also encouraged to apply). Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Work Environment:
24/7 hospital setting with rotational shifts (morning, evening, night). Exposure to diverse medical cases, including emergencies and chronic care.
