Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurologist to join our medical team in palakkd kerala. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders and diseases. You will be responsible for patient care, performing neurological examinations, and providing appropriate treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions, including but not limited to stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
Perform detailed neurological examinations and interpret findings.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, CT, MRI, and other relevant imaging and diagnostic tools.
Develop, implement, and monitor patient treatment plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress and response to treatment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatments, providing support and guidance throughout the treatment process.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in neurology and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
Qualifications:
MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
MD or DM in Neurology or an equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution.
Valid medical license to practice in India.
3-5 years of experience in neurology, preferably in a hospital setting.
Strong clinical knowledge and skills in neurology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with neuroimaging techniques.
Research experience in the field of neurology.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in local languages and English.
